After announcing the Note 12 and Note 12i, Infinix is back with two new smartphones called the Infinix Note 12 VIP and Note 12 (G96). The major highlight of the Note 12 VIP is that it carries support for 120W fast charging. In addition, it offers other attractive features such as a 120Hz display and a 108-megapixel primary camera.
The Note series, with its high degree of innovation and high-performance features, is truly remarkable. The excitement for the launch experience has been building on social media for the past week, and the event finally took place yesterday on the High Impact Cruise, Marina, Lagos.
The ‘THE INFINIX NOTE 12 VIP EXPERIENCE’ launch event was nothing short of an incredible trip. This was not your typical smartphone launch. Guests arrived happy with the gorgeous scenery and experience on the lake, with anticipation heavy in the air and momentum for an epic adventure brewing. Before the event started in full swing, the one and only Johnny Drille serenaded the guests with a stunning performance.
As the event neared its conclusion, the unveiling was announced after the guests were given a tour of Note 12’s features. The models arrived on stage in style, carrying the devices in specially packed VIP boxes. The unveiling was flawlessly conducted, with Tobi Ayeni, also known as Miss Techy, Fisayo Fosudo, Yemi Adeyemi, and Yemisi Ode doing the honours of revealing the stunning devices to the audience. The tech reviewers agreed that the Note 12 did indeed have additional options and surprises to offer for a great user experience.
The NOTE 12 VIP and NOTE 12 G96 are two Infinix Note 12 series variations. They both have well-rounded, cutting-edge performance features like 120W HyperCharge, 120Hz refresh rate, 108MP Cinematic Triple Camera, etc. The devices were designed with people in mind, allowing them to ‘Take the Lead’ and accomplish remarkable results in their daily lives at work and play.
Following the unveiling, Infinix announced a pre-order campaign in which one lucky winner will receive a one million naira prize for simply pre-ordering the smartphone. Every buyer of the device will qualify for a Dubai draw. Fans will also be assured a ticket to a summer concert (The VIP concert) with the top celebrities if they purchase any Note 12 device. Just when the audience thought they’d seen it all, Infinix revealed yet another challenge for fans to match the Note 12’s performance by demonstrating any athletic activity that demonstrates superior speed and energy, such as Jet Skiing, Skydiving, Skating, Tennis, and so on. Winners will also receive a trip to Dubai to participate in these activities firsthand.
Palm Pay’s Marketing Manager introduced an Infinix wallet to the audience to increase financial inclusion and provide customers with a more convenient way to pay. Users would be able to link their cards to it and receive special discounts and an instant credit line that would be established in seconds with no requirement for guarantors. It is a Pan-African initiative that will begin in Nigeria and Kenya and then grow to other African countries.
The guests were taken on a tour of the Note 12 VIP editions. They were allowed to test out the cameras, shoot selfies, and check out all of the phone’s fantastic features while interacting with the staff and asking their questions.
